About Emma

Emma has been practicing Chinese medicine for  22 years.
She qualified with distinction in acupuncture at degree level
from the London School of Acupuncture and Chinese
herbal medicine (now Westminster University) in 1995.

In addition she won an award on graduation for
highest academic achievement.  Her qualification in
Chinese herbal medicine, again at degree level, was
achieved two years later and she hasn’t looked back.

Whilst many practitioners use acupuncture, Emma is one of the few practitioners of Chinese medicine in Norfolk who is fully trained and qualified in traditional acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Tuina (Chinese massage).  She uses whatever combination of these therapies, all of which are a part of the complete system of Chinese medicine, to achieve the best results for her patients

Emma loves to treat people of all ages and with all kinds of physical, emotional and mental problems and conditions.  However, she has a special passion for treating women’s health problems and also in helping couples who are struggling to conceive, finding this some of her most rewarding work.

Since first qualifying she has undergone continuing professional development and has completed a demanding postgraduate training program in female health, gynaecology, obstetrics and reproductive medicine run by
Dr Trevor Wing - MBRCP FRCHM MBAcC BSc (Hons) MSc (Dist)
DMed(Img) of The Women's Natural Health Clinic. Practitioners who attend this post graduate diploma course and pass the demanding closed-book final examination become associates of The Women's Natural Health Clinic.   Emma is the first and only associate in Norfolk.
